All About Our Office Locations

It’s an exciting time for Dudley Smiles! We’re just days away from opening the doors of our brand new Issaquah office to the public, and we can hardly wait to show it off. We shared a little bit about this journey with you back in May, when we first broke ground, and talked about why we chose this location, and what it would feature. Today we’re going to give you a glimpse into both of our offices! We’re proud of what each location has to offer our patients, from relaxing reception areas to efficient electronic check-in systems. Because orthodontic treatment generally requires multiple office visits, we work hard to create an atmosphere that’s warm, welcoming, and a space you’re happy to spend time in. We believe we’ve achieved that in our Kent and Issaquah locations.

Kent

Our OG location in Kent is where it all began. We started with a fireplace in the reception area to give it the familiar feel of home, and continued that theme with a coffee bar. And believe it or not, orthodontists know exactly how stressed out many patients are about their appointments with us, so we added large windows in our bay area, complete with calming views of the greenery and nature surrounding the building.

We’re also all about convenience, and this location is no exception. We’re within walking distance of the Panther Lake shopping center, so if you need to run into Rite-Aid or Dollar Tree during your child’s appointment, you’ll have plenty of time to do it. There’s a Jack In The Box and Yummy Teriyaki nearby, too, making it easy to grab a bite to eat before or after your visit to us.

While we’re on the topic of convenience, we’ve got a state of the art electronic check-in system that’s quick and efficient. Even though we’ve gone to great lengths to make our reception area as inviting as possible, we know our patients don’t want to spend any more time there than necessary, and this system allows us to see you as soon as possible.

Issaquah

We copied many of the features of our Kent office when designing our new one in Issaquah, including the fireplace, coffee bar, and check-in system. You can’t improve on perfection, right? We put windows in the bay area here, too, which look out onto Issaquah Creek and all the lush greenery surrounding it. We also added big screen TV’s, so between the calming qualities of nature and the distracting nature of television, we’ve got a pretty good handle on any jangly nerves!

The office also boasts high, exposed-beam ceilings, and polished concrete flooring, to give it a rustic finish. Ceiling fans add movement and visual interest, and the white walls make it look clean and streamlined.

We’re tempted to say this is the best part – Costco is only a block away! You can’t beat that for convenience. In fact, it’s probably a little too convenient for us – we have a tough time staying out of there sometimes, if we’re being perfectly honest! Those $2 hot dogs are hard to resist.

Both locations

Interior design and convenience aside, the technology in both our buildings is top-notch. We’ve got the newest digital x-ray machines, a method of digital scanning that will virtually eliminate gooey impressions, and digital photography with digital charts. We also have multiple televisions outside of the bay area for both entertaining and educating patients.
